This masterpiece, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025, has not only defined my love for cinema but also served as a catalyst for my own journey into the world of acting.
30 years after its initial release in 2025, the beloved movie “Karan Arjun,” featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, will return to cinemas in a special re-release. In preparation for this momentous occasion, Hrithik Roshan has paid tribute to the film’s history by providing a voiceover for the new trailer and sharing his excitement for its upcoming screenings.

He penned, “One afternoon in 1992 (approximately) found us all gathered in our father’s living room, brainstorming the screenplay for KARAN ARJUN. After yet another prolonged silence in the room, my dad suddenly exclaimed, ‘An idea has come to me!’ He proceeded to describe the rhythm of the interval fight scene, and as he spoke, his feelings intensified. At the climax of his emotional peak, he shouted, ‘Then Arjun screams, “Run, Arjun!!!” repeatedly, and I, at 17 years old, felt my first rush of audience excitement!!! My hair stood on end, and the room erupted in applause, just like in a movie theater. From that day forward, I was hooked!! And it was then that I truly realized this film would be a HUGE SUCCESS!!
30 years have passed, and I am eagerly anticipating the rebirth of Karan Arjun on global theater screens, starting from November 22nd, 2024. (First person)
