2024 marked a year of fostering connections for HIDDEN.NY, as the well-known online moodboard has made significant strides in strengthening its physical presence. A key element of this expansion has been through partnerships with ASICS. In March, they teamed up for their initial collaboration, releasing the sleek GEL-NYC and an immersive pop-up experience that transformed customers into “employees” of a mysterious company, complete with training videos and a visit to the “boss” before receiving their shoes. Now, they’ve prepared another project by reintroducing the GEL-Venture 6 Shield.
A water-resistant adaptation of an affordable trail runner by ASICS, which was launched in 2017 and later revised slightly in 2019, is the GEL-Venture 6. This shoe showcases a unique design that combines elements of both road and trail running. Fashion retailer HIDDEN.NY has elevated its appearance by adding a green Tiger stripe, along with light grey highlights such as a rubberized toe cap and translucent tongue tags bearing the combined logos of HIDDEN.NY and ASICS.
For the first time this year, the GEL-Venture 6 is making an appearance, but it’s not its debut collaboration – previous years have featured releases in partnership with atmos and IAB-Studio. The HIDDEN.NY x ASICS GEL-Venture 6 collaboration will likely be available online before the year ends.
