As a devoted follower of Bollywood, I have been fortunate enough to witness the meteoric rise of Vicky Kaushal, a true gem in our cinematic world. His dedication and humility are not just evident on the silver screen, but also behind it. The anecdote about him staying three extra hours on set to help his co-stars speaks volumes about his character.
Known for his exceptional acting skills and versatility, Vicky Kaushal frequently demonstrates his talent through the movies and roles he selects. Coming up next is his role in the period drama titled Chhaava. In a recent conversation, Kaushal’s co-star from Chhaava, Vijay Vikram Singh, along with Bigg Boss narrator, revealed that during filming, Kaushal voluntarily stayed an additional three hours on set to assist others and offer guidance.
During a conversation with Free Press Journal, Vikram was inquired about his working experience with Vicky Kaushal. In response, he expressed that Kaushal is among the most respectful and thoughtful actors he has ever encountered. He further mentioned that Kaushal consistently considers the well-being of his co-stars, displaying genuine humility and kindness.
On the filming day, it turned out that Kaushal chose to stay an extra three hours, offering guidance even when his scene had been wrapped up and there was an opportunity for him to relax.
In the meantime, the movie “Kaushal’s Chhaava” is an epic historical drama adapted from the Marathi novel with the same title by Shivaji Sawant. Interestingly, it will star Rashmika in a prominent role as Yesubai, Sambhaji’s wife. The cast includes Divya Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and others. This film is directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan. The teaser for the movie has already received a warm response from the audience.
Originally planned to debut on December 6, 2024, the movie has been pushed back to prevent a conflict with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2. As of now, the new release date is undecided, but according to TopMob’s latest report, the producers are aiming for a premiere in the first three months of 2025.
In addition to his other ventures, you’ll find Kaushal featured in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie titled Love & War. This project will star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt as well. The filming commenced in November 2024, with Ranbir Kapoor and Kaushal expected to join shortly, while Alia is slated to begin filming in December.
Furthermore, it has been announced that Vicky will be appearing in the film “Mahavatar,” taking on the role of Lord Parashurama. This upcoming production, helmed by Dinesh Vijan, is set to be directed by Amar Kaushik and is expected to premiere in cinemas during Christmas 2026.
