Wife Of Former The Voice Winner Shared An Update After The Team Blake Artist Accidentally Shot Himself

As a gamer with a knack for survival games and a soft spot for underdog stories, I can’t help but feel a pang of sympathy for Sundance Head. Life imitates video games sometimes, and it seems he found himself in a real-life ‘one bullet away from death’ scenario. Yet, he’s still standing, proving that the spirit of resilience is not just a gaming trope, but a testament to human grit.

2016 saw Blake Shelton claim his fifth victory as a coach on The Voice with artist Sundance Head. Fans enamored by his soulful voice received distressing news over the weekend, when Head’s wife Misty revealed that he had accidentally discharged a firearm at his hunting property. Thankfully, it appears that Head is recovering well, as Misty later reported that he was discharged from the hospital and has returned home.

As a devoted fan, I’d like to share an unfortunate incident that happened to Sundance Head, a former contestant on American Idol Season 6 (2011). On November 15, it seems he was at his ranch in Texas by himself. His wife, Misty, shared on Facebook that he was reaching for his .22 caliber pistol from the holster in his Jeep when it accidentally discharged, hitting him in the stomach. Fortunately, he didn’t need surgery, and as of November 16, he’s back home, according to another update from Misty.

Last night, they discharged me rather late, so we arrived home quite early this morning – but not without a bumpy three-hour ride. As the medication’s effects wore off, my condition worsened; I was restless, causing bleeding from my bandages. To make matters worse, I was only dressed in a hospital gown, leaving all my clothes behind at the ranch. Upon getting home, I managed to change and clean his wounds, reapply dressings, though he’s far from an easy patient. I also gave him some Motrin for pain relief.

It appears that Sundance Head was experiencing significant discomfort, yet the crucial point is his expected full recuperation. Had the bullet struck him any higher or lower, as Misty put it, the outcome would have been catastrophic.
