As a die-hard fan of legal dramas who’s been missing my fix since Suits took a break, I couldn’t be more thrilled to hear about the return of the franchise with Suits: LA. With Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt leading the cast, this new series promises an exciting blend of entertainment and criminal law in the City of Angels.
It’s been some time since “Suits” was leading the streaming rankings, yet NBC anticipates that viewers are eager for more content from the legal series.
On February 23rd, the network has scheduled the debut for the series titled “Suits: LA“. This show shares the same universe as “Suits“, but isn’t a direct spinoff. The drama features Stephen Amell and Josh McDermitt, who work at a Los Angeles law firm that focuses on entertainment and criminal cases.
As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that NBC expedited the production process for our beloved show, Suits, towards the end of last year, given its impressive streaming success streak. In the early months of 2025, Suits: LA will make its grand debut alongside two other enthralling dramas on NBC. The lineup includes The Hunting Party, a gripping crime drama that follows an elite team of investigators hot on the trail of notorious fugitives who have broken free from a clandestine prison, and Grosse Pointe Garden Society, a captivating series that delves into the lives of members within a garden club, where they become embroiled in scandals and murders.
On February 3rd, “The Hunting Party” is scheduled to make its debut, airing after the conclusion of “The Voice’s” spring cycle (which ends in late January). The television show “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” produced by Jenna Bans and Bill Krebs from “Good Girls,” will premiere on February 23rd along with “Suits: LA.” Additionally, NBC will debut their long-awaited natural history series, titled “The Americas,”, narrated by Tom Hanks on the same night.
NBC’s primetime shows will resume with new episodes in January following a winter break. Earlier announced, a special 50th anniversary episode of Saturday Night Live is scheduled for February 16. Below you’ll find the premiere dates for NBC’s midseason lineup; all times are Eastern/Pacific Time.
