As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I must say that seeing Elon Musk, the man behind SpaceX and Tesla, tackling Diablo IV is nothing short of fascinating! While his sub-2-minute run might not be the fastest speedrun ever, it certainly has made quite a splash in the gaming community.
When Elon Musk isn’t breaking records with SpaceX by snagging rockets with robotic limbs, he’s immersed in Diablo IV just like everyone else. And just as everyone else, he must have enjoyed the thrill of conquering Diablo IV’s Pit 150 in less than 2 minutes.
As I shared on my official X platform, I’ve been reflecting on some valuable life lessons I’ve picked up from observing speedrunners. These intricate games have a knack for teaching us to decipher patterns and strategies that, in a way, mirror seeing through the matrix. Meanwhile, I couldn’t resist giving you all a sneak peek at my Diablo IV Spiritborn gameplay. 🎮🚀
In simpler terms, he completed the game with 13 minutes and 4 seconds remaining on the clock, placing him at number one among all Diablo IV players worldwide. However, his extraordinary damage seems to be not solely due to playing Diablo extensively.
It appears to be a bug exploit. Well played, Elon.
In a more current update on platform X, Diablo IV’s head of community engagement, Adam Fletcher, disclosed that they are planning to release a patch focusing on elixir items to rectify this intriguing predicament. The reported glitch allows players to amass an extraordinary amount of Health Points (HP), which can subsequently be converted into damage.
Transformed into a One-Punch Man capable of inflicting immense damage, reminiscent of a blizzard’s destructive power, as demonstrated in Elon’s latest video.
Although it’s clear that playing games in 2024 is becoming increasingly intense, Elon’s sub-2-minute run of Diablo IV doesn’t hold the record for the fastest speedrun due to the Helltides Diablo IV leaderboard.
While Elon is enjoying these game glitches, it turns out that numerous gamers in the Diablo IV community are also thrilled because they can now complete the game’s end-level content at last.
After the developers released a fix (patch), many players resumed play but soon left, indicating that the most recent expansion for Diablo IV failed to rekindle the game’s popularity within the community.
It appears that the Vessel of Hatred in Diablo IV requires additional refinement to potentially earn a spot as a Game of the Year nominee at The Game Awards.
