Back in September, I was thrilled to learn about my favorite audio brand, Bowers & Wilkins, teaming up with Volvo! This exciting collaboration means they’ll be designing custom audio systems just for Volvo cars – can’t wait to experience those crystal-clear tunes on my future rides!

Building on their partnership, Bowers & Wilkins and Abbey Road Studios have collaborated to create a unique sound profile for their car audio systems. This new profile is debuting with Volvo in their electric seven-seater SUV – the EX90. Dubbed as the ‘Abbey Road Studios Mode’, this innovative technology promises to revolutionize the in-car listening experience, aiming to replicate the iconic sound of Abbey Road Studios within your car.

Experience and understand the ‘Abbey Road Studios Mode’ fully requires listening to it, almost feeling its essence. To demonstrate both its sound quality and development process, the brands arranged an interactive event at the iconic Abbey Road Recording Studios in London. During this event, attendees were privy to a panel discussion led by Jamz Supernova and a live performance by Ezra Collective.
