‘Vanderpump Rules’ Refresh: Bravo Hit Series Renewed With All-New Cast

As a die-hard fan of Vanderpump Rules, I must say I’m both excited and skeptical about this new chapter. The original cast has been a part of my weekly TV routine for years, but let’s face it, their “drama, situationships, and frenemies” have become as predictable as Lisa Vanderpump’s perfectly coiffed hairdo!

It’s official: Vanderpump Rules is getting a refresh.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Bravo‘s popular reality show is making a comeback, but this time with a completely fresh lineup. The announcement comes as the series, which originated as a spinoff of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” has been on break following the fallout from the “Scandoval” scandal, which skyrocketed the original cast to public attention and unfolded over the past two seasons with shocking and contentious outcomes.

In Season 12, Lisa Vanderpump – the producer of “Vanderpump Rules” and owner of SUR, the LA restaurant at the heart of the series – will be joined by a fresh team of employees who are just as entangled in personal relationships as their predecessors. As per the announcement, under Lisa’s watchful gaze, both the established SUR and its sister venue TomTom are set to welcome a new crew of servers, hosts, and bartenders brimming with drama, romantic tangles, and friendships that straddle the line between friendship and rivalry.

Next year, we’ll start filming the upcoming season. More details about the release date and the identities of the fresh acting talent will be shared at a future time.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s sources, Lala Kent, Scheana Shay, Brock Davies, and Tom Schwartz are set to appear on the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley. It’s possible that the entire cast, which includes Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy, and Katie Maloney, may make appearances across The Valley, Vanderpump Rules, and the broader Bravo universe.

Additionally, there’ll be a commemorative special focusing on the last eleven seasons, which aims to honor the ups and downs, friendships strained, and controversial events experienced over the past ten years.

Alex Baskin, executive producer of Vanderpump Rules, expressed excitement about continuing the series’ legacy via 32 Flavors. ‘It’s exciting to start anew,’ he said, ‘with deep respect for the original cast and their memorable stint. We can’t wait for viewers to follow a fresh group of colleagues and friends as they navigate life together.’

Reflecting on the past 12 years of filming, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude for this extraordinary journey filled with laughter, tears, and everything in between. It’s been an absolute pleasure to share this experience with each and every one of you. You all hold a special place in my heart. As the restaurant business moves forward, I raise my glass to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules. Cheers!

Vanderpump Rules is manufactured by the companies 32 Flavors and Evolution Media. Baskin, Barry Poznick, Jenn Levy, Joe Kingsley, Vanderpump, and Ken Todd serve as executive producers for the series. (This version maintains the original structure but aims to make it more accessible to a wider audience.)

More to come.
