Keoghan expressed in a long post that he has had enough of the online slander against him. Normally, he doesn’t respond to such incidents, but this time he felt compelled due to the increasing boundary violations. He deactivated his account as he can no longer allow these matters to interfere with his family and work. The messages he received are unfit for any person to read. They were filled with blatant lies, hate speech, vile comments about his appearance, character, parenting skills, and other inhumane things one cannot even imagine. His reputation, which he has worked tirelessly to build, and the principles he stands for are being maligned.
The Saltburn celebrity expressed concern, stating that certain individuals have gone too far with their behavior. Instead of merely making offensive remarks on social platforms, they’ve escalated their harassment to include actions like approaching the celebrity’s grandmother’s home and lingering outside their baby boy’s residence in an intimidating manner.
Keoghan went on to say, “Every day, I strive to exert more effort and improve myself in every aspect so that I can be the healthiest and strongest role model for my son. I aim to offer him chances to learn, make mistakes, and grow. I want him to have the confidence to look up to me, trust me completely, and know that I will always stand by him no matter what challenges we face.
