The Hundreds Catches ‘Em All in New Pokémon Capsule

As someone who spent countless hours of my youth engrossed in the magical world of Pokémon, the latest collaboration between The Hundreds and this iconic franchise feels like a nostalgic dream come true. The vibrant Togepi-inspired cardigan and the Team Rocket long-sleeve shirt are pieces I’d proudly add to my wardrobe, reminding me of those late-night battles and the thrill of catching ’em all.

The collaboration between The Hundreds and Pokémon isn’t new, having already released a joint collection of designs and tailored clothing towards the end of 2022. Now, they’re teaming up yet again to bring another strong lineup of clothing featuring iconic characters like Pikachu, Charizard, Mew, and others.

Instead of this Togepi-inspired mohair cardigan leading the pair’s sophomore presentation, it is characterized by vibrant colors of red, blue, and white. Notable tailored items also include a long-sleeve shirt emblazoned with the Team Rocket logo and a replica of Ash Ketchum’s famous hat, crafted from wool.

In terms of graphic design, The Hundreds brand showcases tribute to beloved Pokémon characters like Meowth, Pikachu, Charizard, Psyduck, Eevee, and Mew on their collection of tees and crewnecks. Check out the visuals displayed in the slide show for a detailed view.

David Rivera, Creative Director of The Hundreds, shared that Pokémon played a significant role in his childhood. He was captivated by the games, television shows, and card collection, which ignited his creativity at a young age. Drawing Pokémon characters and inventing personal stories and battles provided him with an outlet. To be involved in Pokémon’s history as an official collaborator on a collection that celebrates the artistic influence that molded his journey feels like coming full circle for him.

Check out the complete assortment showcased in the lookbook up there, and don’t forget to grab it when it goes on sale at The Hundreds’ main online store on December 13th.
