As a seasoned gamer with a knack for fashion, I’ve always been intrigued by the harmonious blend of street culture and iconic footwear, and the Stüssy x Dr. Martens 2295 Decon collaboration is no exception. With my years spent navigating the virtual world in search of digital treasures, these boots seem to embody a rugged resilience that mirrors the grit and determination required to conquer both the physical and digital landscapes.
Product: Stüssy x Dr. Martens Deconstructed 2295
Stüssy and Dr. Martens have worked together frequently in the past, particularly in footwear collaborations since 2016. Now, they’re teaming up once more to redesign one of Dr. Marten’s iconic rigger-style boots with a rugged twist.
The iconic Dr. Martens 2295 boot, previously stored away, is back with a rugged comeback, now endorsed by Stüssy. Arriving in two handcrafted colorways – the elegant Black Wanama and the rough Sand Hairy Suede – the Stüssy x Dr. Martens 2295 Decon prioritizes durability. This boot features a pull-on design, reinforced with a steel-toed construction, equipped with a pull-tab at the back for ease of use, and boasting an all-black BEN outsole. The signature yellow stitching of Dr. Martens adorns the sole, while a discreet Stüssy touch can be found on the pull tab in the form of an embossed “Work Gear” patch.
Examine the updated version by Stüssy of classic Dr. Martens 2295 shoes, displayed in the gallery above, and consider purchasing them when they become available on December 13, this coming Friday.
