As a long-time fan of Japanese pop culture and music, I am absolutely thrilled about PARCO’s 55th anniversary “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” Campaign! The collaboration with Haruomi Hosono, Keiichi Tanaami, and Naohiro Ukawa is nothing short of a dream come true. I remember listening to Haruomi Hosono’s music back in the day, and now I get to experience his work in a whole new way through this campaign.
To celebrate the 55th anniversary of a unique project, PARCO has unveiled its “Merry Christmas” Campaign, starring Haruomi Hosono, Keiichi Tanaami, and Naohiro Ukawa. In the spirit of the holiday season, various events will take place at PARCO stores across the country. Already, grand Christmas decorations and in-store displays are being set up in PARCO stores nationwide to create a joyful atmosphere for everyone.
PARCO HAPPY HOLIDAYS CAMPAIGN
At the upcoming event, individuals spending $26.67 USD (which is equivalent to 4,000 yen) or more will be rewarded with special gift boxes filled with unique candies. Additionally, attendees may have an opportunity to bring home a one-of-a-kind gift box adorned with the PARCO “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” campaign designs as a souvenir.

HOLIDAY SONG BGM SELECTED BY HARUOMI HOSONO
Haruomi Hosono chose a collection of festive tunes for the ongoing campaign, accessible on Spotify only temporarily. Additionally, these songs will be played in all PARCO stores across the country throughout the campaign duration and the holiday season.

55th HOSONO HARUOMI POP-UP SHOP (Shibuya PARCO)
The “55th HOSONO HARUOMI POP-UP SHOP,” a temporary store showcasing Haruomi Hosono’s work, started operation on the 3rd floor of Shibuya PARCO from December 13 to December 25. This shop offers clothing and items adorned with artwork from the “HOSONO HOUSE COVERS” by artist Tomoo Gokita, along with merchandise inspired by the fictitious video rental store “HOSONO VIDEO HOUSE,” curated by Haruomi Hosono, created by “Kakubarism” and Daisuke Iga. Furthermore, a video showcase of Haruomi Hosono will be displayed at the location.

HARUOMI HOSONO COLLABORATION MENU
Temporarily available is a unique collaboration menu, blending favorite dishes from “QuattroLabo” music café and bar (by “Club Quatro”) with a selection curated by Haruomi Hosono. The menu showcases three distinctive sandwiches – cutlet, egg, ham – along with hot dogs and double cappuccinos. As an added bonus, customers ordering from this special menu will receive a limited edition “HAPPY HOLIDAYS” campaign sticker on a first-come, first-served basis.
