‘Gilmore Girls’ Now Streaming on Hulu in Addition to Netflix

As a devoted Gilmore Girls fan since its inception, I can’t help but feel like Rory’s lost year at Yale when it comes to the prospect of more Stars Hollow adventures. The town and its inhabitants have been my comfort blanket for so many chilly autumn nights, their witty banter and pop culture references a warm embrace that never fails to lift my spirits.

Lorelai, Rory, and the rest of Stars Hollow have secured a new streaming platform for the holidays. You can now stream all episodes of Gilmore Girls, perfect for binge-watching, on Hulu. The series is still accessible in its entirety on Netflix, with Hulu also being the exclusive home of the 2016 four-part revival, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Additionally, Hulu has launched a collection of Gilmore Girls holiday episodes, available on the show’s landing page, featuring nine episodes from the original seven-season series.

Originating from 2000 to 2007, with its return on Netflix in 2016 as a miniseries, “Gilmore Girls” is a dramedy that chronicles the lives of Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and her daughter Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), residing in the fictional Star Hollow, Connecticut. This series is celebrated for its rapid-fire, humorous dialogues laden with pop culture references and an endearing ensemble of eccentric characters. The charm of “Gilmore Girls” remains undiminished, maintaining a passionate fanbase that eagerly revisits the entire series each Fall.

Each autumn, rewatching the beloved series Gilmore Girls brings a delightful wave of nostalgia (apart from perhaps season seven). Devoted fans yearn for more, and just recently, characters like Luke (Scott Patterson), Lorelai, and Kirk (Sean Gunn) gave a sneak peek with a 30-second Walmart commercial. During interviews about the ad, Patterson and Graham hinted at potential future developments of Gilmore Girls with E! News. Graham expressed her readiness to play Lorelai whenever possible, and suggested that certain circumstances might bring the cast back together for another installment.

In essence, I believe the key factors for our reunion now are likely similar to those that brought us together previously. These elements involve making progress creatively and satisfying our fans’ desires, all while respecting the foundation we’ve already established.

Could Amy Sherman-Palladino Revisit Stars Hollow?

Amy Sherman-Palladino, the mind behind both the Emmy-winning show “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “Gilmore Girls”, previously expressed a desire for Lauren Graham to join the cast of her Prime Video comedy. Although that collaboration didn’t materialize last year, her wish to work with the actress from “Parenthood” persists.

I deeply desire to collaborate with Lauren again. Currently, our interactions are limited to shared lunches, which I truly appreciate, especially since we both enjoy spicy Bloody Marys during noon hours. However, I yearn for more substantial work opportunities with her. Unfortunately, Lauren’s schedule is packed – she’s an ice skater, author, and has a bustling life overall. Our planned collaboration didn’t materialize, but my admiration for her remains as strong as ever.

We’re ready for that reunion whenever you are, Sherman-Palladino!

The beloved television show “Gilmore Girls,” featuring the talented cast members Graham, Bledel, Patterson, Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Yanic Truesdale, Kelly Bishop, Edward Herrmann, Milo Ventimiglia, and Liza Weil, can now be streamed on Hulu. You can also find both the original series and its 2016 reboot on Netflix.
