As a seasoned gamer and fashion enthusiast who grew up in the ’90s, I can’t help but feel a rush of nostalgia with Supreme’s latest Winter 2024 graphic tees collection. The Grinch Tee and the Will Sheldon-inspired design are undoubtedly standout pieces for me, reminding me of the pop culture icons that shaped my childhood.
After presenting their ski-oriented collaboration with Supreme and Spyder, the New York streetwear brand has returned with a fresh selection of graphic tees for the upcoming season. Perfect for the Holidays, these six new designs draw inspiration from both popular and urban culture.
The highlight of the release is undoubtedly the Grinch Tee, which stars the titular character in Santa’s hat and sporting his signature smirk as a small color graphic. Another noteworthy style features American tattoo artist, Will Sheldon’s artwork as a large graphic at the center of the tee. Coming in black and pastel lime yellow, the featured design borrows from a fantastical yet haunting portrait from Sheldon’s 2021 exhibition, MY SMALL SUPER STAR.
Typically, Supreme revealed fresh designs that added a unique twist to their well-known logo this time around. The Diamonds Tee, available in vibrant pink and black, boasts a sparkling emblem photo print adorned with rhinestones. The number “94” is placed at the heart of the emblem, while a banner-like motif resides beneath it, showcasing the Supreme logo in a gothic font. Another standout design includes the Supreme logo styled like a crest, which seems to be an ode to a classic Prada logo.
Starting December 19, Supreme’s Winter 2024 graphic tees will go global and be accessible through their online store. Commencing from December 21, the same collection will also be made available for shopping in the Asian region.
