As a fan who has followed Michael Fassbender‘s career closely, I must admit that this newfound appreciation for ABBA is quite amusing! The actor’s life experiences often seem to be filled with unexpected twists and turns, making his journey in Hollywood all the more intriguing.
Michael Fassbender wasn’t necessarily having the “time of his life” while on a boat trip.
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the star of The Black Bag shared a nerve-wracking tale from his boat voyage to Ibiza.
Michael Fassbender shared with Jimmy Fallon that he’s never been particularly fond of ABBA. However, their trip took an unexpected turn when they were initially in Formentera, planning to travel by boat to Ibiza. They had a late meal and were returning at night, but the weather suddenly turned nasty. In fact, it became quite stormy, really bad.
As a gamer, I’d put it like this: “I’d set sail with my small vessel towards our return boat, headed for Ibiza. But as we journeyed, the main boat began to lose air. We managed to make it back, but alas, it deflated and sank, leaving us in fits of laughter.
As the storm grew more intense while we were on our boat journey, things turned perilous; however, there was a touch of humor that occasionally eased the tension.
I boarded the boat, but suddenly a tempest erupted, sending dishes and other items flying about. I hastily secured everything, but amidst the chaos, ABBA’s tunes filled the air. I clung to the boat, feeling the rhythm of the music pulse through me, and for the first time, I truly grasped the essence of ABBA.” Quoting the lyrics with a playful imitation, I shouted out, “I was dancing, jiving, living life to the fullest – just like the song says, ‘You can dance / You can jive / Having the time of your life!’
Whenever Fallon chuckled and assured me, “You’re always safe with ABBA,” I jokingly replied, “If tonight is our last night, I couldn’t think of a better soundtrack than ABBA. Indeed.
