Varun Dhawan hilariously shares how Ranbir Kapoor and elder brother Rohit Dhawan bully him: ‘Unka yeh bada hai ki mujhe…’

As a die-hard Varun Dhawan fan, I can’t help but marvel at his incredible storytelling abilities and the unique bond he shares with some of Bollywood’s biggest stars. From his hilarious account of being bullied by Rohit Dhawan and Ranbir Kapoor to his heartwarming tales of camaraderie with Salman Khan, Varun’s life experiences weave a rich tapestry that keeps us captivated.

Actor Varun Dhawan consistently brings laughter, whether it’s through his roles or off-camera antics. Known for his candidness and wit, he recently amused fans by recounting a humorous incident involving his brother Rohit Dhawan and actor Ranbir Kapoor. Apparently, the two only combine forces to tease Varun when they’re together – on his own, Ranbir is friendly!

During an informal conversation on The Ranveer Show with Ranveer Allahbadia, Varun Dhawan recounted a humorous incident from a recent game of padel. He described the situation where he was competing against his brother Rohit Dhawan and old friend Ranbir Kapoor. While Ranbir typically behaves in a friendly manner when he’s with Varun individually, there’s a shift in dynamics when Rohit is present.

Varun mentioned, “What’s notable about our friendship is that they pick on me when we’re together. When Ranbir is alone, he’s quite kind towards me, but when he’s with my older brother, he behaves as if he’s an elder brother too.” (They are childhood friends, and there’s a peculiarity in our relationship where they tease me when we’re together. Ranbir is generally very nice to me when he’s alone, but when he’s with my older brother, he assumes the role of an elder sibling.)

However, Varun stood firm against their challenges – not only did he triumph in both matches, but he also couldn’t help but share his triumph on the podcast, divulging his strategy for defeating them.

Previously, during a private session at TopMob Masterclass, Varun Dhawan reminisced about his special relationship with Salman Khan, looking back on their childhood times together. He admitted that even today, he still feels like a child in his presence, appreciating the playful atmosphere they share.

He explained that Salman treats every child with the same warmth, not just him. Varun also reflected on the special connection between their families, citing the fact that his father and Salman have worked together on nine films.

Among Varun’s most cherished moments was when the star of Sikandar frequently dropped by their home and took a seat at the dining table. Salman, known for his playful nature, would often secretly swipe Varun’s roti to share with his mother who made delicious paneer.

In his youth, the actor known for portraying Citadel: Honey Bunny found it unusual for someone of advanced years to act so lively and mischievous towards him, yet this remains a constant characteristic in their interactions even now.
