As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity dynamics, I can’t help but admire the resilience and support shown by Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal. Their journey from newlyweds to parents, and now into film production, is nothing short of inspiring.

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who got married in October 2022, became parents to a baby girl on July 16, 2024. Managing their careers alongside taking care of their newborn, Richa has recently shared that she feels like giving up every half year. In response, Ali advised her to keep going strong, demonstrating yet again why he’s such a positive sign in their relationship.

In a straightforward conversation with The Indian Express, Richa Chadha shared, “Every six months I feel like giving up and starting over.” To this, Ali Fazal sagely advised, “You must never give up.” It’s truly touching to observe Ali standing by his partner, offering guidance, and we admire such loving and supportive partnerships.

As a devoted follower, I’m thrilled to share that Richa and Ali Fazal have just launched their first film production titled “Girls Will Be Girls.” This captivating movie became available on Prime Video on December 18. Directed by Shuchi Talati, the film is a compelling tale set in the vibrant city of Dehradun during the 1990s. The story follows Mira, a 16-year-old girl who’s experiencing her own rebellious awakening, mirroring her mother Anila’s untapped coming-of-age journey from that era.

1) This movie has earned acclaim at renowned global film events like Cannes and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. Despite dealing with financial limitations, Richa and Ali ingeniously found ways to finance the project by using their own savings and partnerships.

During the same interview, Heeramandi stressed that with persistence and backing, creators can conquer financial barriers to realize their concepts, using Girls Will Be Girls as an example, which secured a grant and underwent editing in France. The film’s successful premiere serves as evidence that enthusiasm and ingenuity can turn even the most difficult projects into reality.

In terms of his career, Ali Fazal has an action-packed schedule coming up. Firstly, he’s part of Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino, sharing screen time with Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, and others. Secondly, he will appear in Rule Breakers alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge, due for release in March 2025. Furthermore, Ali is associated with Thug Life starring Kamal Haasan, scheduled for June 2025. Lastly, he’s working on Mirzapur The Film and Lahore 1947 projects.
