As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for exploring the virtual and real-world landscapes alike, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming e&MOTB 2025 event during Dubai Shopping Festival! With its retro-futuristic vibe and immersive shopping experiences, this open-air market promises to be a vibrant melting pot of global and local brands.
This year, as Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) celebrates its 30th anniversary, e& MOTB, formerly known as Etisalat MOTB, is preparing to launch a market with a retro-futuristic theme in an open-air setting during January. The event underscores e& MOTB’s position as an exciting alternative shopping destination for DSF attendees.
For ten days, the flagship event will return to its usual spot in the heart of Dubai Design District, bringing with it a wide array of clothing and footwear labels as well as its usual offering of global and local tech, lifestyle, and beauty brands. Coming off the success of last year’s immersive shopping experiences, skincare and makeup labels Drunk Elephant, Huda Beauty, Fenty Beauty and Benefit along with automotive brand AW Rostamani will be providing visitors with the chance to test out their latest products on-site as online label Cider prepares to make its regional debut in a special retail pop-up.
For our throwback event, every booth will be situated in front of unique backdrops that evoke the charm of the ’50s with a modern twist, featuring vibrant colors and dazzling lights. This nostalgic ambiance will span across markets and stages. We’ve carefully selected an array of live entertainers who will breathe fresh life into the retro theme through their dance and music performances. To make this event enjoyable for all ages, we’ve added new entertainment zones like a smash room and open mic activation.
Visitors can catch free concerts showcasing artists like Saint Levant and Naïka, with delicious food options available from various vendors such as popular choice Dave’s Hot Chicken. For a more luxurious dining experience, Talabat, the UAE’s preferred delivery service, will offer special menus during the festival.
In 2025, the MOTB event will run from January 3rd to the 12th, and it’s completely free to join! For additional details, visit the Dubai Shopping Festival’s website or its social media platforms.
