This morning, we hadn’t decided yet if we would stay open on a holiday, but unbeknownst to us, we ended up hosting royalty – King Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, along with their family – at our humble café.
In my own words, I’d say, “I was fortunate enough to have Virat Sir grace our kitchen, where he graciously interacted with the chefs, even allowing for some memorable photo opportunities with me.
At the moment, India’s cricket squad is in Australia for the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, which consists of five games. So far, they’ve played three tests, and each team has scored one victory. The third test ended without a clear winner.
On Thursday, December 26th, the much-awaited Boxing Day Test commences at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The Indian team has already touched down in Melbourne, initiating their training sessions as they gear up for this significant contest.
For those who might not know, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have lived in London since February 15 this year, following the birth of their second child. As reported by Hindustan Times, they are considering making London their long-term residence.
According to Rajkumar Sharma, who coached him as a child, Virat Kohli plans to move to London with his family. While prioritizing family time, Virat remains active in cricket, but it’s anticipated that the relocation will happen soon. Additionally, rumors suggest that the couple already owns a house in London, where they may establish their new residence.
On the career side, Anushka Sharma, who recently starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Zero, is temporarily stepping away from the spotlight to focus on her children, Vamika and Akaay. Despite having a biographical movie called Chakda Xpress, which tells the story of cricketer Jhulan Goswami, the release date for this film has yet to be determined.
