As a long-time aficionado of all things K-Pop, I must say that this list is nothing short of a delightful holiday treat! From the fresh takes on classic Christmas tunes to the original tracks that capture the spirit of the season, these songs showcase the incredible talent and versatility of these Korean artists.
Christmas music and K-pop often seem to complement each other, with numerous cover versions of traditional holiday songs and impressive year-end festival shows.
Every year, numerous groups put out a mix of fresh holiday songs based on traditionals and updated versions of classic tunes. Among these, there are some exceptional tracks that make an ideal Christmas music collection.
Under the title “Beautiful Christmas,” the popular K-Pop groups Red Velvet and aespa have come together to create a holiday tune for their fans. This collaboration showcases that more K-Pop companies might gain from collaborative projects. SM Entertainment has previously explored this concept, forming super boy group SuperM and super girl group GirlsOnTop. These groups consist of artists from different generations, reflecting the progression of K-Pop over time.
ATEEZ’s rendition of “White Love”, originally sung by ’90s Korean group Turbo, offers a delightful twist. While ATEEZ is popular for its powerful and lively singles like “Work”, “Bouncy (K-Hot Chili Peppers)”, and “Crazy Form”, they also have an impressive collection of softer, vocal-focused B-sides. The 2021 song from their joint album with Kim Jong Kook, titled “Season Songs“, provides a chance for fans who are new to them to appreciate the range in their music catalog.
The newest song, titled ‘Magical’, is an outstanding addition to Twice’s nearly perfect holiday music collection. This enchanting track comes from their latest album, Strategy. Earlier this year, the girl group shared with The Hollywood Reporter that creating this new album was a stimulating task for the seasoned K-Pop stars.
Below, find the K-Pop perfect songs to add to your holiday playlist.

EXO, “The First Snow”

The beloved K-Pop Christmas song has made a strong reappearance on domestic music charts as the holidays approached, even reaching No. 4 on Korea’s Melon Top 100 chart on Dec. 25 at 1 a.m. KST – outranking Christmas queen Mariah Carey.

Remarkably, the remix preserves the essence of the original tune but infuses it with a lively, festive atmosphere.
Red Velvet and aespa, “Beautiful Christmas”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTgcp1oDk2M?feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]SM Entertainment loves to bring artists from different groups together (their SM Town banner and its live shows are a great example), but the decision to bring together beloved girl groups Red Velvet and aespa remains one of their best. The two groups are individually known for their strong vocal skills but seamlessly blended together for this instant holiday hit.
Stray Kids, “Christmas EveL”

It’s a perfect blend of their signature style and holiday cheer, making it a standout addition to their impressive discography. And let me tell you, Felix’s final rap verse? It’s short, sweet, and unforgettable!
Blackpink’s Lisa, “My Only Wish (Britney Spears Cover)”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xi1YS_HfNyY?feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]The pop star’s 2023 cover of Britney Spears’ 2000 holiday hit was only the beginning to what would be a banner year ahead for the 27-year-old. After a trio of hit singles this year, the Thailand native is set to make her acting debut in the highly anticipated new season of The White Lotus.
ATEEZ, “White Love”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSX9UztF9QU?feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]This cover, originally popularized by the ’90s Korean sensation Turbo, is now performed by an eight-member band. The song is part of the EP titled “Season Songs“, and it highlights a more tender aspect of the powerful boy group. Additionally, this rendition led to one of their most endearing stage performances.
Le Sserafim, “Perfect Night (Holiday Remix)”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sujIgaXoFTM?start=189&feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]Last year before the holiday, the girl band cleverly revamped their popular English song “Perfect Night” as a seasonal version. The initial track’s laid-back pop atmosphere suits this festive adaptation beautifully, which the five-member group pulled off splendidly.
NCT Dream, “Joy”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMMl0DopcdM?feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]Apologies for the play on words, but NCT Dream’s 2017 holiday song is genuinely delightful to hear. This tune takes us back to their initial days and serves as an illuminating testament to the group’s remarkable growth throughout the years.

It’s no surprise that many artists choose to cover this song, but the up-and-coming boy band’s straightforward composition and polished voices make their version stand out distinctly.
Class:y, “Winter Bloom”
[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJAdPdhjw3M?feature=oembed&w=500&h=281]If you’re seeking an authentic bubblegum K-Pop holiday feel, “Winter Bloom” is just the ticket.
