As a gamer who has seen countless performances and concerts virtually, I can confidently say that Beyoncé’s NFL Halftime Show on Christmas Day was nothing short of extraordinary. Having grown up playing video games featuring virtual concerts, I never thought I’d witness something as captivating as this in real life.
Queen B warmly greeted everyone at the Beyoncé Stadium on Christmas Day, which is located in her birthplace, Houston, Texas. Making her first live performance of the song “Cowboy Carter“, Beyoncé delivered an impressive show for the much-anticipated NFL half-time performance during the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans matchup.
In this exceptional performance lasting twenty minutes, Beyoncé made her first live television appearance in four years. Clad in an all-white fur coat and cowboy hat, she rode onto the stage on a white horse for the opening number, “16 Carriages.” Accompanied by Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer, she sang “Blackbiird” before transitioning to “Ya Ya” and performing a dance with a marching band in the stadium.
Supporters swiftly expressed their admiration online, showering Beyoncé with accolades after the show. Catch the whole performance here.
