As a seasoned cinephile with decades of movie-watching under my belt, I must say that Alexandra Daddario‘s recent holiday sojourn among the ethereal Northern Lights feels like a scene straight out of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The breathtaking vistas and crisp winter air make me yearn for some hot cocoa and perhaps even a bit of ice sculpting, if only in my imagination!
Alexandra’s real life may not always mirror the idyllic storylines of these beloved holiday films, but it’s heartening to see her taking a well-deserved break after her whirlwind year. From attending various events, filming Season 2 of The Mayfair Witches, and welcoming a new addition to her family with husband Andrew Form, it seems as though she could use some R&R.
Speaking of families, Alexandra officially wrapped production on Season 2 of The Mayfair Witches last summer while pregnant with their first child, an announcement she made in July of 2024, joking that her baby was the worst-kept secret in Hollywood at the time. Filming the new season must have been a challenge for her, but it’s clear that her dedication paid off, as the show will premiere on January 5, 2025 – nearly two years after the first season debuted in January of 2023.
With a busy year behind her and an equally packed schedule ahead, I eagerly anticipate what’s next for this versatile actress. In addition to her AMC work, she has several other projects in various stages of production, such as A Tree Fell In The Woods, Happy Life, and Doubled Booked, potentially set to release in 2025 or beyond. I can only hope that we’ll get a few more glimpses of the Northern Lights from her in the meantime – perhaps even during filming for one of these upcoming projects!
On a lighter note, I can’t help but wonder if she’s planning to reenact any iconic holiday movie scenes while up north. If so, I hope she doesn’t end up with a kiss under the mistletoe – unless it’s Andrew Form, of course! After all, who needs a Hallmark movie when you have real-life romance?
This year, Alexandra Daddario found herself quite occupied. She attended numerous events, worked on Season 2 of AMC’s hit show The Mayfair Witches, and made a significant leap in her relationship with Andrew Form by starting a family together. Fortunately, she managed to take a break in December to admire the breathtaking Northern Lights. Naturally, the scenery was stunning.
Plenty of celebrities spent the holidays someplace exotic, fun, and likely expensive. The first holiday adventure that comes to mind, of course, is Jennifer Lopez’s aspirational Christmas, as she spent the holidays in 2024 having a literal white Christmas. But other celebrities did too, as Brie Larson has shown us some gorgeous views in recent days. (Oddly enough the two had similar holidays and similar red carpet moments in 2024.)
Daddario was among the celebrities who had snow-filled holiday vacations, as well. Take a look.

In my experience of watching many delightful Christmas films, I must say that the scenery here gives me the feeling she could be starring in an upcoming Hallmark winter film, ready for some hot cocoa and possibly winter activities like skating or ice sculpting. Her everyday life might resemble a television movie production, but it’s heartening to see her enjoying a well-deserved respite after her hectic year.
Indeed, last summer marked the conclusion of production on Season 2 of The Mayfair Witches for her, as she filmed this AMC drama series while expecting her first child with husband Andrew Form. In July of 2024, she made her pregnancy announcement, humorously noting that their unborn baby was almost a public secret within the industry. As it turns out, Daddario experienced morning sickness during filming and had to take breaks between kissing scenes. Despite the difficulties, she persevered to ensure the season’s release.
As a long-time fan of television and someone who has been following the career of this talented actress for years, I am thrilled to see her upcoming projects. Having watched her breakout role in “Baywatch” and witnessing her growth as an artist since then, it’s fascinating to see how far she has come. Last year was a significant one for her, and next year seems to be shaping up to be just as momentous if her packed schedule is any indication.
With multiple projects like “A Tree Fell In The Woods,” “Happy Life,” and “Doubled Booked” in various stages of production, it’s evident that 2025 will be a banner year for the actress. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us and am eagerly anticipating each new development in her career. It’s inspiring to witness the journey of someone who has managed to maintain their passion and dedication to their craft, and I have no doubt that she will continue to make a mark in the industry for years to come.
Though I wouldn’t mind if we got a few more views from her of the Northern Lights in the meantime.
