NCIS: Tony And Ziva Has Been Filming In Budapest, And Michael Weatherly Shared The Cool Gift He Got To Commemorate The Shoot

As a devoted fan of NCIS who first tuned in back in 2008 and fell in love with Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming spinoff, NCIS: Tony & Ziva. The prospect of seeing these two iconic characters reunite on screen after over a decade is nothing short of thrilling!

Michael Weatherly‘s Instagram post showcasing his exclusive pair of NCIS-branded Adidas sneakers only serves to heighten my anticipation. While I understand that these kicks were designed specifically for him, I can’t help but wish they were available to the public. Imagine the conversations those shoes could start!

Now, if only there was a way to get my hands on a pair of those sneakers without breaking any laws or international treaties… But alas, it seems that wearing them out and about might be a tad too conspicuous for even the most die-hard fans like myself. Perhaps Michael should consider putting them in a display case instead – after all, they are priceless memorabilia!

On a lighter note, I’ve been thinking: if Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David can go on the run across Europe together, maybe it’s time for this fan to do the same. Who knows, I might just stumble upon some hidden clues about their whereabouts or uncover a secret plot against them! Until then, I’ll just keep my eyes peeled for any news about NCIS: Tony & Ziva and dream about those elusive Adidas sneakers…

As the new year unfolds, one exciting event on TV schedules in 2025 is the anticipated series “NCIS: Tony & Ziva.” This highly-anticipated spinoff, available exclusively on Paramount+, brings back two of the most beloved characters from NCIS, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, after more than a decade. Filming for this production started in Budapest in June 2024 and is now wrapping up its time in the country. Michael Weatherly, who will reprise his role as Tony DiNozzo, recently showed off an amazing souvenir he received from the shoot – a gift I’d be thrilled to own too!

Weatherly showed off a pair of NCIS: Tony & Ziva-branded Adidas sneakers he received as part of a collaborative effort between Superstar Budapest and FinestArtShoes, and the commenters in the actor’s post were clearly digging his new pair of kicks just as much as he does, if not more so. As a die-hard NCIS fan since 2008, especially of the two main cast members Michael Weatherly played, I can’t help but feel a twinge of envy for his unique shoes – crafted just for him. If only I could get a taste of that swagger, it would undeniably boost my fandom credibility! Sadly, these shoes aren’t available in stores, but it’s fantastic that they serve as a special memento from Weatherly’s time working in Budapest. Reflecting on it now, perhaps he should preserve those shoes in a display case instead of wearing them out in public.

In simpler terms, Cote de Pablo shares why Michael Weatherly is her ‘most valuable resource’ during their time on NCIS. The fact that characters Tony and Ziva are reunited again brings me even more joy.

As a seasoned actress who has auditioned for numerous roles, I can empathize with Cote De Pablo’s experience during her audition for Ziva David on NCIS. When I first read about her statement that she thought Michael Weatherly was trying to sabotage her chances, it immediately reminded me of the challenges and uncertainties that come with trying out for a coveted role.

In my own acting career, I’ve encountered situations where an actor or actress might inadvertently make me feel uncomfortable during an audition, which can potentially impact my performance. Perhaps it was the way Michael delivered his lines, or the tone of voice he used that made Cote feel uneasy and think he was attempting to undermine her chances.

However, I believe it is essential to remember that actors are human beings too, and sometimes, our emotions may be heightened during an audition. It could be that Michael was simply trying to establish a rapport or set the tone for the scene, which Cote misconstrued as intentional sabotage.

Regardless of what transpired between them, I applaud both actors for their exceptional work on NCIS and their ability to create such memorable characters. Their performances have brought laughter, tears, and excitement to millions of viewers worldwide, making the show a beloved staple of television entertainment.

Previously, Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly departed from their main roles on NCIS, but they’ve returned to the show. Last year, Cote de Pablo made a cameo in an episode honoring the late David McCallum. However, this upcoming season marks the first time they’ll appear together since Season 11’s “Past, Present, and Future” which was broadcast on October 2013. On the other hand, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David have been reunited for quite some time now after it was disclosed that she wasn’t really deceased and could emerge from hiding. Now they are together, raising their daughter Tali, portrayed by Isla Gee in the intriguingly titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva.

It’s unfortunate that Tony and Ziva will need to go into hiding and travel extensively in their spinoff, as Tony’s security firm gets attacked. They must identify who is pursuing them. The cast of NCIS: Tony & Ziva includes Lara Rossi, Amita Suman, Maximillian Oskinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Terence Maynard, and James D’Arcy. With this addition, it will mark the seventh series in the NCIS franchise, alongside the ongoing flagship show, NCIS: Origins, and NCIS: Sydney.

Keep an eye on TopMob for updates about the progress of NCIS: Tony & Ziva. Starting from Monday, January 27, both NCIS and NCIS: Origins will be back on the air. Meanwhile, NCIS: Sydney will kick off its second season on Friday, January 31.
