According to insiders familiar with the project, Kartik is all set to commence work on Anurag Basu’s untitled love story by the end of January 2025. A source confides, “Anurag Basu and Kartik Aaryan are collaborating on an emotional love story that will be produced by Bhushan Kumar. The filming is slated to begin at the end of January. The production team has planned a lengthy shooting schedule of three months from January to April.
The source also shared that the casting process for this upcoming romantic epic is ongoing, potentially introducing a new talent to the spotlight. “This ambitious musical love tale is set to release from late January,” the source said. Kartik Aaryan’s beard-style has been chosen for Anurag Basu’s direction in this film. The title and additional details of the movie will be unveiled soon after production starts. Work on the music and production, under Bhushan Kumar, is already underway with the aim of producing a hit album for this passionate love story. A mahurat ceremony for Basu’s film was held in Mumbai in September, and the full-scale shoot officially begins now in January.
Following the conclusion of a significant schedule in the Anurag Basu-directed project, Kartik Aaryan shifts focus to the globetrotting love story Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, produced by Sameer Vidhwans. This film, jointly produced by Dharma Production and Namah Pictures, is set to begin production in May 2025. Sameer Vidhwans has created an entirely new world for this Kartik Aaryan starrer, having already completed his scouting trips in various international locations.
In 2026, you’ll find two movies – Anurag Basu’s upcoming project and Tu Meri Main Tera Mera Tera Tu Meri – gracing the cinema screens. According to our source, after completing work on both these films, Kartik Aaryan will proceed to other feature films. He is currently reviewing several scripts, among which Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 also features.
