Veer Pahariya is poised to embark on his first acting role in the Hindi film industry through Sky Force, a movie led by Akshay Kumar. Notably, this project will bring Veer together with Sara Ali Khan, who he has been linked to romantically in the past. In response to this opportunity, the newcomer expressed gratitude and referred to her as ‘sweet.’
On January 4th, a significant trailer release event took place in Mumbai, where Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Dinesh Vijan, and other team members of the movie gathered. During the question-and-answer session, debutant Veer was inquired about his confidence in working with Sara Ali Khan, considering their past friendship.
Before Veer Pahariya had a chance to answer, Sky Force producer Dinesh Vijan playfully interjected and asked the reporter if they were asking about “friendship” or “the kind of friendship like in the movie ‘Stree,'” referencing Rajkummar Rao’s character Vicky’s term for his romantic interest in Shraddha Kapoor’s character in Stree.
Reflecting on my time collaborating with Sara Ali Khan on Sky Force, I must say she was nothing short of delightful and incredibly supportive. With her extensive industry knowledge, she provided me invaluable assistance that I am truly thankful for. So, a big thank you to Sara – your guidance made all the difference!
It’s worth mentioning that Sara and Veer were reportedly a couple long before Sara started her acting career in 2018 with the film “Kedarnath”. The speculation about their relationship gained traction when Karan Johar playfully hinted at them dating sibling brothers during an episode of Koffee With Karan in 2022.
He mentioned that he wanted to go back to a time before the pandemic. He didn’t seem to be as close to either of them currently, but he couldn’t recall any prior friendship between them. However, he recollected that they had been involved with siblings in past relationships. This statement left both actresses taken aback.
Karan, as well as both siblings, resided in the same apartment complex in times gone by.
Under the guidance of directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Kapur, the upcoming movie titled Sky Force is being produced by Dinesh Vijan, Amar Kaushik, and Jyoti Deshpande. This exciting production is scheduled to premiere in cinemas on the Republic Day weekend of January 24, 2025.
