To kick off the new year with a clean slate, Adidas’ shoe designed by Anthony Edwards will hit the market in a white color scheme famously known as “Stormtrooper.
In a modern twist on the adidas Crazy 1 “Stormtrooper” from the 2000s, this basketball shoe undergoes a refined redesign. The upper half is made of black fabric, juxtaposed with a lower half that’s pure titanium white, showcasing its distinctive form. The white midsole harmoniously blends with the perforated uppers, evoking the white armor donned by Star Wars’ Stormtroopers.
On the Adidas logo at the shoe’s back heel, as well as on the underside of the soles in subtle hints, you’ll find vibrant details. For an added touch of futuristic style, there’s a tiny reflective element on the toe box that lights up when exposed to direct light.
The new design, referred to as “Stormtrooper”, is reminiscent of the recently released AE1 model in “Metallic Grey”. Both share a minimalist style, with shades of grey predominating throughout the footwear.
On February 1, 2025, the Adidas Anthony Edwards 1 Low “Stormtrooper” will be available for purchase through the Adidas online store and chosen retailers.
