Actor Shahid Kapoor is geared up to captivate audiences with his action thriller “Deva,” set to debut at the start of January 2025. The initial teaser has sparked immense anticipation among fans, who are now on tenterhooks for the release of the full trailer. It’s been confirmed that the trailer, clocking in at approximately 2 minutes and 22 seconds, has received certification from the CBFC.
As per the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) website, the trailer for the upcoming film Deva, featuring Shahid Kapoor, was approved on January 8, 2025. It has been given a ‘UA 16+’ rating and its official duration is 2 minutes and 22 seconds.
On January 5, 2025, the producers revealed the film’s teaser trailer. The quick video snippet featured Shahid Kapoor as the main character, displaying a gripping and commanding portrayal of a police officer. A brief glimpse hinted at the anger and passion of his character in a dance scene. At the end of the teaser, it announced, “Coming Soon: Trailer.” Social media users were greatly impressed by Shahid’s appearance and acting skills.
In September 2024, Shahid Kapoor shared a unique video from the end of filming Deva. To mark the occasion, he performed his well-known Dhan Te Nan move from Kaminey. Under the banner of Zee Studios and Roy Kapur Films, the movie “Deva” is a production by Roy Kapur Films. Starring Shahid Kapoor as the main character, the film also features Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulatie, Pravessh Rana, and Kubbra Sait in key roles. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, this film is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Umesh KR Bansal. “Deva” is set to hit the big screens on January 31, 2025.
