On Tuesday, we got a glimpse of what was to come with the unveiling of the tracklist, and it turns out that the initial single from Mac Miller’s previously unreleased album, Balloonerism, has finally been released. For the very first time, this song, titled “5 Dollar Pony Rides,” is now available on streaming platforms.
The metaphorical love ballad runs approximately close to four minutes and, similar to the entire album Balloonerism, it was primarily tracked between the years 2013-2014.
As a devoted fan, I’d like to offer you exactly what your heart desires, and perhaps later on, fulfill any other needs you might have. You know, girl, I recall the good times when you used to enjoy yourself so much, yeah. It’s been a while since I’ve seen that radiant smile of yours. Despite past leaks, the unique concept of Balloonerism will finally have its worldwide streaming debut on January 17, which is just two days before Mac’s birthday. The album also features tracks titled “Funny Papers”, “Transformation”, and “Tomorrow Will Never Know”.
