JBL’s Most Advanced Headphones Yet Come With a Smart Touch Transmitter

At CES 2025, JBL, under the ownership of Harmon, debuted their most sophisticated over-ear headphones yet: the Tour ONE M3. These headphones are being hailed as the brand’s most feature-rich, thanks to the introduction of the groundbreaking JBL SMART Tx audio transmitter for the first time.

Ensuring the headphones work seamlessly with various devices like inflight entertainment systems, computers, tablets, or televisions, the portable touch-screen remote functions as a wireless command hub. The transmitter enhances synchronization, consistency, and sound quality while granting complete control over music playback, call handling, EQ adjustments, and Auracast-enabled broadcasts. By using an in-app hearing test within JBL Personi-Fi 3.0, JBL’s algorithm creates a personalized sound profile based on 12-band EQ and independent left/right balance optimization.

Alongside superior performance, JBL is providing exceptional audio quality using newly designed 40mm Mica Dome drivers that deliver immersive and well-balanced sound. An advanced 8-microphone system powers the JBL True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0, enabling it to filter out external noise or users can choose Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes for custom sound control. To enhance the listening experience even more, integrated head tracking through JBL Spatial 360 allows listeners to move their heads freely while sounds remain stationary in space.

Despite being packed with numerous practical features, JBL maintains a sleek and minimalist design, offering a smooth matte casing in colors like Black, Mocha, and Blue.

These two JBL models, the Tour ONE M3 and the SMART Tx, will be available for purchase from the JBL online store starting on April 13, 2025, priced at $399.95 USD each.
