The sensational aspects of the Saif Ali Khan incident have sparked worries. Although the Mumbai Police have apprehended the suspect, there were initial claims that the person assaulting Khan might have had past connections with Shah Rukh Khan. Nevertheless, the police have refuted any such links.
A recently released article in India Today suggests that Mumbai Police suspect that the person who attacked Saif Ali Khan with a knife may have previously scouted out Shah Rukh Khan’s residence earlier this week as well. In response to the unfortunate incident involving Saif, police officers also went to Shah Rukh’s home (Mannat) to examine the situation more closely.
On January 14th, it was reported by police sources that there was a potentially suspicious activity observed near Shah Rukh Khan’s residence. It appears someone attempted to survey the property by setting up an iron ladder, about six to eight feet long, at the backside of the neighboring house close to Mannat. This raised suspicions among the police, as they believe the individual who may have been conducting a preliminary investigation could potentially be linked to the attack on Saif Ali Khan.
The video surveillance from Mannat suggests that the individual’s physical characteristics, such as height and body type, closely match the description of the person in the footage taken at Saif’s apartment.
Additionally, the source disclosed to the media that it’s doubtful the individual could have acted independently. Moreover, speculation points to the weight of the iron ladder found at SRK’s residence being too much for one person to manage, hinting at a minimum of two to three individuals possibly being involved in the event.
Although Shah Rukh hasn’t made a formal complaint about the event, the authorities are treating it with great importance. They are investigating if the ladder used for the inspection might have been reported missing.
I’ve just read a new report in Mid-day that the Mumbai Police have flatly dismissed any speculation linking the recent events. They’ve officially stated there’s no connection between the two incidents, putting to rest any theories I might have been entertaining!
In the course of a comprehensive probe, Dixit Gedam, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Zone 9 from the Mumbai Police, disclosed that the primary objective behind the incident was a burglary. Furthermore, he shared that the suspect utilized an emergency fire exit staircase to gain entry into Khan’s residence. The suspect was recently spotted near Bandra railway station, and this morning, the Mumbai Police successfully apprehended him, marking a significant achievement in their investigation.
