Pharrell Williams is gearing up for his fourth fashion show as creative director at Louis Vuitton Men’s, and anticipation is building for the event, happening in Paris on January 21st at 6:30pm CEST (which converts to 12:30pm EST). Although there’s been a lot of buzz around Louis Vuitton’s re-release of its Takashi Murakami line, there will undoubtedly be more news stories about the brand in the coming days.
Anticipating the upcoming turmoil, Pharrell unveiled one of his newest designs for Louis Vuitton – presenting the ButterSoft sneaker. Admirers of Skateboard P swiftly recognized resemblances to his Ice Cream Boardflip design from the mid ’00s, while others spotted parallels with the Nike Cortez. Not only did he showcase a pair, but he also hinted at more than 40 color options, each featuring prominent Louis Vuitton branding on the midfoot.
Information on Pharrell’s latest Louis Vuitton ButterSoft sneaker is scarce, with him only sharing them on his @skateboard Instagram account. It appears that this new design could be a significant feature in Louis Vuitton’s upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 runway presentation and might become available during the second part of the year. Keep an eye out for further developments, including a peek at more styles, as we eagerly await the sneaker’s launch.
