Initially unveiled at Fantastic Fest 2024, “The Rule of Jenny Pen” was scheduled to air on Shudder streaming platform in 2025. However, now it’s confirmed that this horror film will grace the big screen on March 7. With a Rotten Tomatoes rating of 64%, director James Ashcroft’s project seems poised for success.

This spring, a much-awaited film adaptation based on Stephen King’s short story collection, “If It Bleeds,” is set to hit theaters. The movie titled “The Life of Chuck” will make its debut on May 30th, thanks to distributor NEON. Therefore, fans of King can eagerly anticipate this upcoming release.
In a sense, “The Life of Chuck” is categorized as an uplifting movie, yet Stephen King predominantly delves into the realm of horror, or at least future adaptations of his works lean towards this genre. One highly anticipated adaptation will revisit the troubled town of Derry, Maine, which serves as the backdrop for many of King’s tales. This time around, horror enthusiasts are in for a return to the chilling domain of the ominous clown. The upcoming miniseries titled “It: Derry Welcome” is fast approaching.
Based on the directing skills of Andy Muschietti, known for movies like “It” and “Mama”, the series is rumored to delve into “the mysterious events that Mike Hanlon is investigating in the novel“. This doesn’t mean it’s a retelling of “It”, but it will likely share similar themes and frightening elements. Set 27 years prior to Muschietti’s acclaimed clown-centric films, this prequel series will “delve into the emergence of the malevolent force that haunts Derry every 27 years“.
A new adaptation of a King novel has just unveiled its red band trailer, leaving horror-comedy enthusiasts eagerly awaiting a film that promises to linger in their nightmares. The movie, titled “The Monkey,” directed by Osgood Perkins, is set to hit theaters on February 21st, and it’s definitely living up to the expectations raised by its acclaimed director.
