Netflix‘s popular show “Love Is Blind” is returning for its eighth season on Valentine’s Day, and the streaming service has even confirmed plans to continue the series up until season 10! This exciting news was shared on Wednesday.
The eighth season is set to premiere on the same day as our show’s fifth anniversary, five years after the reality dating series garnered popularity during the early stages of 2020’s pandemic. This new season will introduce a fresh batch of singles hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Once again, Vanessa and Nick Lachey will take on the hosting duties.
To celebrate reaching the five-year mark, Netflix unveiled a special “Five Years of Fandom” video, showcasing some of the most memorable scenes from the series.
Reflect on the memorable instances, hilarious memes, and heartwarming love sagas that turned you into a devoted fan of ‘Love is Blind’,” as the show’s description goes.
This season on Netflix, “singles build strong bonds right from the start, paving the way for an unanticipated adventure filled with surprises, changes of direction, and jaw-dropping disclosures that will challenge their relationships long after they step out of the pods into reality.
Following the end of Netflix’s seventh series in autumn, season eight arrives, consisting of twelve full-length episodes. However, Netflix has yet to disclose when seasons nine and ten will be made available.
Previously, Netflix hasn’t hesitated to renew one of its popular reality shows for multiple seasons all at once – a move they made as recently as 2023 when they commissioned both seasons simultaneously.
Producer Chris Coelen remains at the helm of the series, joined by fellow executive producers Ally Simpson, Brent Gauches, Eric Detwiler, and Brian Smith. The production company responsible is Kinetic Content.
