After Phil Robertson’s Health Update, The Duck Dynasty TV Revival Is Happening

For over four years now, the Robertson family from the hit reality TV show “Duck Dynasty” have not appeared together on television since their A&E series concluded its eleventh and final season in March 2017. However, just a month after Willie Robertson revealed health issues that patriarch Phil has been facing, there are signs pointing towards the family potentially making a comeback to TV screens for an official “Duck Dynasty” revival, scheduled to premiere on the 2025 television schedule.

When And Where Will The New Duck Dynasty Show Premiere?

Though specific broadcast dates remain undecided, the Louisiana series is set to return to its original network, A&E. A total of 20 episodes have been commissioned for two seasons. In this streaming era, these episodes will also be accessible on a yet-unspecified major streaming platform following each season’s end. Previously aired episodes can currently be found with a Hulu subscription.

Big Willie Robertson Stylez

Following his appearance on The Masked Singer, will Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson be coming back to television? Let’s find out what he shared about it.

After his stint on The Masked Singer, could we see Willie Robertson from Duck Dynasty back on TV again? Here’s what he had to say.

The initial revival season of “Duck Dynasty” is anticipated to air sometime during Summer 2025, with specifics on the exact release date revealed at a later time. The show, encompassing all aspects, began with its spinoff on Fox Nation titled “Duck Family Treasure,” which debuted in 2022.

Who Will The Revival Season Focus On?

Given the title’s reference to a “dynasty,” it’s not unexpected that most of the Robertson family will appear on screen for the upcoming two seasons. Willie and Korie will lead the show, joined by an increasing number of their children and grandchildren. The family is exploring strategies to further grow the Duck Commander brand, all while navigating changes in their marriages, family, and careers.

According to A&E:

The revamped series will star Willie, Korie Robertson, Miss Kay, Uncle Si, and other beloved family members from the successful show, offering a glimpse into the lives of the children and teenagers you’ve grown fond of: John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella, Rebecca, and their expanding clans.

Expressing their feelings about coming back to A&E, Willie and Korie stated in a release that it feels somewhat like stepping back into familiar surroundings, as during filming, they essentially remain at home.

Phil Robertson Is Not Listed As A Cast Member

The most notable absence among the announced cast is Duck Commander’s leader, Phil Robertson. However, given the health update shared by Jase with fans on their podcast Unashamed in December, it’s not unexpected that he’s currently not in a situation suitable for TV filming, as stated by Jase then.

Based on medical professionals’ assessment, it appears he’s suffering from a blood-related illness that’s wreaking havoc throughout his body, accelerating rapidly. Despite his insistence on returning to the podcast, his current condition doesn’t allow for easy mobility without discomfort and his memory has noticeably declined. He acknowledges this when I bring it up. In truth, he struggles even to engage in a simple conversation due to his health issues.

As Jase has shared, his ongoing health troubles are linked to some blood-related condition he’s dealing with, and he’s now entering the initial phase of Alzheimer’s Disease. He mentioned that his family has been incredibly helpful in making him feel at ease and working diligently to postpone memory loss for as long as feasible.

Although Willie, Korie, and the others might not physically appear in the latest season of Duck Dynasty, they’ll certainly keep everyone informed about his activities, sharing stories and updates as appropriate, whether it’s during the show or elsewhere.
