On Friday, January 24th, Willy Chavarria is set to unveil his eagerly awaited FW25 collection during Paris Men’s Fashion Week. To deepen his connection with the city of Paris, this designer from California has partnered with his collaborators at adidas Originals. Together, they aim to extend Chavarria’s vision beyond the runway and into the bustling streets of Paris.
To honor the designer’s West Coast Chicano roots, Chavarria and adidas will discreetly release a limited collection of items, transporting them in a classic Chevy Impala-style lowrider car to various hidden spots throughout the city.
The assortment encompasses navy short and long-sleeved t-shirts, embellished with puff-printed shared branding and three-stripe patches on the arms. adidas’s stripes are additionally incorporated onto a navy zip-up hoodie and gray joggers, boasting twin adidas badges and a sleek Chavarria logo at the bottom. Throughout all the items, references to the Paris show are made, and the rose – now synonymous with Chavarria’s vocabulary – serves as the central emblem.
The pop-up will additionally showcase fresh designs of adidas Originals x Willy Chavarria footwear, such as the Jabbar Low with a flip-over tongue available in two color schemes, and the Jabbar Dress sporting leopard print pony hair embellishments.
After the raffle ends at the event location, digital access tickets will be handed out from cars. These tickets grant access to an adidas CONFIRMED webpage where you can pick up your purchase in-store. The collection is available for pickup starting from the adidas Originals Paris flagship store. On Saturday, January 25, between 1 pm and 2 pm CET, the designer will be present at this store for a special appearance.
