Don Lemon Thinks It’s Time for Matt Lauer’s Comeback: “The Public Loves Him”

Don Lemon proposed the idea that it could be appropriate for Matt Lauer’s return, expressing his opinion that “the public has a fondness for him.

In a recent episode of the Hollywood Raw podcast, the ex-CNN anchor discussed his past friendship with the journalist who was dismissed from NBC’s Today show in 2017 due to sexual harassment claims made by a previous staff member. More women later shared similar accusations against him.

I didn’t meet Matt until after the incident occurred, as we live in the same town and have mutual acquaintances. Whenever I run into Matt, whether it’s in public or when my husband and I go out to dinner with him and his fiancé, people seem to really like him.

Many women adore him. They express their feelings by saying things like, ‘Matt! Oh my goodness, can I take a photo of you? I admire you. I’ve missed seeing you on TV,'” he added. “I believe this indicates that the general public also holds him in high regard.

Host of “The Don Lemon Show,” Don Lemon, proposed an idea that if Lauer decides to return, he might have the opportunity to chart his own path on a digital broadcasting platform.

He suggested that although the general public appears to welcome him, some individuals within the industry may harbor fears about potential repercussions should they choose to employ him.

Now that Donald Trump is back in the White House, Lemon suggests, “[It’s possible] he might return [to his previous position], but it’s the individuals within the industry who are worried about what occurred with Matt.

This book contained claims by former NBC employee Brooke Nevils, who made on-the-record accusations that Laurer had raped her in a hotel room during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. However, Laurer has refuted all these allegations.
