Jaideep Ahlawat ‘Melts’ Over ‘Paatal Lok’ Shoutout From Amul India

Recently, the second season of Paatal Lok, led by Jaideep Ahlawat, has been showered with praise by viewers. Not too long ago, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap wrote an extensive review praising the series and specifically highlighting Ahlawat’s acting as “an exceptional masterclass.” More recently, Ahlawat received a heartwarming acknowledgment when Amul India gave the show a significant shout-out.

Jaideep Ahlawat posted on Instagram a charming sketch made by Amul India, a well-known diary company. The drawing depicted Ahlawat’s poster from the show, complete with bread in his hand. The caption accompanying their brand name was a clever play on words, asking “What else is Ahlawa?” and referring to the series as a “popular snack loved by the people.

In response, Jaideep playfully commented on this, saying “Hathi Ram didn’t need to be buttered up like this by Amul India, or else he would get even fatter! I melted like butter looking at this! Thanks for the love; this one is special.” He then tagged the entire cast and crew of Paatal Lok Season 2.

Tillotama Shome, who stars alongside Jaideep in Paatal Lok Season 2, expressed her appreciation with the phrase, “That’s too nice!” Meanwhile, Gul Panag showed her fondness by using heart emojis.

Beyond this, Jaideep not only posted the content on his Instagram stories but also showed appreciation by saying, “Thank you” accompanied by several heart emojis. Moreover, Jaideep’s friend Vijay Varma expressed excitement in response to the post on his stories with a phrase that translates to “My man (accompanied by eye-holding tear emoji)”, followed by a kiss emoji. He was clearly proud of me @jaideepahlawat.

 

A few days ago, Anurag Kashyap shared his detailed review of the series as well. In his tribute to Jaideep Ahlawat, he stated that this isn’t merely his finest performance yet; it is the best performance of 2020 in my opinion, surpassing any other actor I have seen. Ahlawat doesn’t act, he becomes Hathiram Choudhary, delivering a mesmerizing acting lesson. I am left in awe.
