Ali Fazal has kept audiences captivated across three seasons of the series “Mirzapur.” He’s set to reprise his role in the upcoming film adaptation, “Mirzapur: The Film.” Recently, there seems to be some news brewing about the movie. Additionally, he expressed high regard for the series “Paatal Lok,” calling it the ‘best’ television show available.
On January 24, 2025, Ali Fazal posted a sweet selfie on Instagram with actresses Shweta Tripathi and Shriya Pilgaonkar. In his caption, he expressed appreciation for their series Mirzapur, which was the most-watched content of 2024 across all platforms. He went on to mention the camaraderie and skill they’ve shared with fans throughout the years.
The actor shared that he has been focusing on cooperation rather than spreading animosity. Recently, Ali praised Jaideep Ahlawat’s series Paatal Lok, expressing his admiration for it. He explained, “I believe it’s the finest show to emerge from the subcontinent so far. I think personal experiences are more important than observed ones (I mean this in terms of emotional impact, not actual life experiences, please be careful).

2024 marked the official unveiling of the Mirzapur: The Film project. In the announcement clip, acting talents Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, and Divyenndu were prominently showcased. With Gurmmeet Singh at the helm, the movie is set to hit the big screen in 2026.
Currently, the second installment of the crime thriller series Paatal Lok has been unveiled on Amazon Prime Video and garnered much praise.
