‘Ghostlight’
Stream on February 25
In 2024, I was captivated by the heart-wrenching film, “Ghostlight.” As a construction worker named Dan (portrayed brilliantly by Keith Kupferer), I found myself drawn into an entirely different world when I joined a local theater company staging “Romeo and Juliet.” In the midst of grappling with the tragic loss of my eldest son, I wasn’t managing my emotions effectively.
Daisy, his daughter (Katherine Mallen Kupferer), deals with her own emotional struggles and regularly visits a therapist as a result. Despite this, she and her father find it difficult to communicate effectively. However, when Daisy learns that he’s secretly involved in the local theater, it could potentially serve as the catalyst they need to progress together. Ghostlight will be streaming on February 25.
