Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Is Already Confirmed, And Tails’ Voice Actress Has A Good Idea Of Where She Wants The Team To Travel To – And It Involves Gelato

Speaking of fantastic video game movies, I bet one that instantly pops into your head is the Sonic series, given their widespread appreciation and box office triumphs. Each movie takes us on a fresh journey, and now, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, who voices Tails, has an idea about where she’d like the team to venture next – and it revolves around gelato.

Discussing the digital release of “Sonic the Hedgehog 3”, I recently had a conversation with the experienced voice actor about the upcoming “Sonic the Hedgehog 4” and her ideas for future projects. At first, O’Shaughnessey wasn’t sure which games she’d like to see adapted into films. However, there was one location that caught her interest, a place she has long wanted to explore herself: a specific country.

It’s challenging since the games lack extensive Earth elements, making navigation a bit tricky. However, imagine exploring space, spotting familiar islands and locales from the game. That sounds intriguing, doesn’t it? But, in terms of our world, it’s not quite relatable due to the game’s settings… Now, let’s talk about Italy… I’ve never been there, but being half Italian, I feel drawn to visit.

The voice actress playfully suggested that the country was a place she wanted to visit, and if they went there, Tails would eat all the pasta, create a “gelato machine” for fun, and possibly more. She finds it challenging to think of new gadgets for Tails because he already has so many fantastic ones. However, she did have an idea for herself:

What I’d love is a device that effortlessly cleans the house, similar to what we see in the Jetsons. However, instead of a conventional gadget, I imagine something more like a real hoverboard. You know, considering he’s already created so many impressive devices. He’s got the multiplier and all the other smart inventions, including those mini boomerangs. It’s quite fascinating!

Traveling to Italy would offer an intriguing and thrilling journey for the Sonic the Hedgehog gang. Across the three movies, they’ve traversed various locations, from the bustling streets of London in “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” to the actual stratosphere of our planet.

If by some twist of events, Italy turned out to be our next destination, it wouldn’t shock me one bit to witness Sonic engaging in a race with his family around the grand Colosseum. Perhaps it’s high time for Tom and Maddie to embark on an exciting European trip with their animal companions.

As a cinephile eagerly anticipating the release of “Sonic the Hedgehog 4,” I can’t help but ponder an exciting possibility: shifting the narrative setting. With new characters like Amy Rose making her debut in a post-credit scene and Shadow surviving the Eclipse Cannon blast, it seems ripe for adventure to unfold in a fresh environment.

I’m open to any ideas that stay true to the core of our franchise, and if it leads to Tails inventing an ice cream maker, then we might as well plan a trip to Italy! If only March 19, 2027 could arrive earlier, that would be perfect. Now, I find myself craving gelato—let’s make those travel plans soon.
