Parallel Experiment is a mind-bending co-op puzzle thriller arriving on mobile later this year

  • Parallel Experiment is an upcoming co-op crime thriller puzzler hitting Steam this March
  • But it’s also set to see its hit demo release on mobile this year, with a proper release hopefully soon
  • Solve the mystery of a ruthless killer as detectives Ally and Old Dog in Parallel Experiment

2025 is quickly approaching, and we’ve got some exciting releases lined up for the new year. One of these highly anticipated games is Parallel Experiment, the co-op puzzle crime thriller developed by Eleven Puzzles. This game is slated to debut on Steam in March, with a demo version also planned for iOS and Android devices later in the year!

If you’ve experienced cooperative puzzle games similar to Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, then you’ll have a good understanding of what Parallel Experiment involves. In this game, you play as detectives Ally and Old Dog, frequently finding yourselves in separate locations where you must exchange hints and collaborate, even when physically apart, to tackle puzzles together.

This game offers more than 80 unique puzzles, features an old-school notebook for managing clues, engaging cooperative conversations, sports a noir comic book aesthetic, and allows you to playfully irritate each other through actions like tapping on windows or nudging your fellow detective – all of which adds to the enjoyable experience.

What’s in the booox?!

To clarify, crossplay will indeed be included in this release, making it an exciting feature. In essence, the ability to collaborate in multiplayer mode can be quite straightforward when using desktop platforms like Discord. However, sharing physical space with another player presents unique opportunities for creative distractions and communication methods that can enhance the gaming experience. On the other hand, some individuals might use this feature to play simultaneously on multiple devices, which could potentially lead to a less engaging experience for others.

Additionally, since the cooperative puzzle concept isn’t entirely novel, it implies that numerous attempts and improvements have been made globally in the gaming industry. Therefore, our aim is to draw on these experiences to provide an optimal user experience once Parallel Experiment launches on mobile devices (hopefully).
