Netflix Announces ‘Squid Game 3’ Release Date

The third and last season of “Squid Game” is coming up, as announced by Netflix. This highly anticipated series, known as “Squid Game 3“, is expected to release later this summer. Fans of the popular survival game show can look forward to being on edge again with the return of characters like Gi-hun and others.

The second season of “Squid Game” recently premiered on Netflix, leaving viewers eager for more. To whet their appetite, Netflix has unveiled some sneak peek images, offering a glimpse into what lies ahead for characters like Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and the mysterious Front Man (Lee Byung-hun). The story will pick up exactly where it left off in season two.

In an emotional letter to fans, the series’ director, writer, and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk announced the release dates for both seasons 2 and 3. He expressed his excitement, saying, “I am delighted to write this letter to announce the airing date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the concluding season.” He further stated, “The confrontation between Gi-hun’s world and that of Front Man will extend right up to the series finale in Season 3, which we plan to release next year.”

In his letter, Hwang also expressed his anticipation, saying, “I am looking forward to seeing the idea I had when creating ‘Squid Game’ grow and reach its fruition through the end of this narrative. We will strive to provide you with another exhilarating journey.

Season 3 is slated to premiere on June 27, 2025.
