It seems that persistent leakers have been consistently unmasking secrets about NetEase’s Marvel Rivals, even when the developers try to mislead them by planting false information. However, these dataminers remain undeterred and continue to unearth fresh details hidden within the game files – such as potential abilities for the upcoming X-Men roster.
According to the leaks from user @X0X_LEAK on platform X (previously known as Twitter), here’s a look at the potential powers of the forthcoming heroes.
Although the leaked details might appear reliable, remember to approach each piece of information with a hint of skepticism since they haven’t been verified yet.
Professor X
It seems that Professor X possesses a team-up skill named X-Men Collection, but the specifics of how it works are yet to be clarified.
In his role as a Strategist, his exceptional talents, namely Psychic Activation and Thought Transmission, effectively harness his telepathic capabilities. This implies that he could potentially wield significant influence, crafting deceptions and hindering the opposition’s perception.
Gambit
Gambit’s skills primarily focus on controlling and shaping kinetic energy. Acting as a combatant, he has a fundamental move known as the Kinetic Energy Card, possibly serving as his primary attack. This ability can be amplified using an additional skill called Energy Accumulation.
Though his overall approach to playing remains enigmatic, it’s clear that he can inflict substantial damage, potentially building up power for explosive assaults. His method of play might be akin to Doctor Strange’s Maelstrom of Madness, yet without any detrimental effects on healing abilities.
Nightcrawler
In essence, Kurt Wagner’s teleportation talent is a key element of his skill set, but thus far, only data has been mined that highlights his swordsmanship prowess. Nightcrawler is said to have the ability to alternate between two combat styles: Epee Style and Foil Style. It is presumed that his teleportation power, known as Phase Shift, allows him to evade battle so swiftly that opponents may not even notice he’s gone beforehand.
Rogue
The leaks have unveiled Rogue as an exceptionally distinctive hero, and her classification as a Strategist has left players puzzled. However, data miners propose that her abilities can mimic those of other heroes in the game, making her a contender for significantly altering the game’s dynamics. If Rogue is able to replicate healing abilities from fellow Strategists, her adaptability could potentially revolutionize gameplay.

In the heat of battle, I find myself starting fresh with nothing more than my wits and instincts. As the fight progresses, I pick up new abilities – some take time to recharge while others are one-time use powers, like a hidden talent unlocked in the chaos of combat.
Jubilee
As a dedicated gamer immersed in the Marvel universe, I can’t help but feel a thrill when I come across Jubilation Lee. Her spirited demeanor and knack for explosive displays make her an unmatched adversary in combat scenes.
Her secret talents mainly stem from her ability to create explosive fireworks. Notably, she possesses a skill named ‘Atomic Bomb’ and an advanced form of it, ‘Atomic Bomb-Enhancement’. While specifics are yet to be revealed, these abilities seem to cause immense damage.
Other Leaked Heroes
The leaks also bring up Colossus and Beast, two individuals who are probably Vanguards. They’re known for their impressive physical power and sharp intellect, respectively, which greatly benefits their teams.
Furthermore, it has been disclosed that Jia Jing, a rising strategist, is indeed among us. Her unique talents include Fairy Wings and Fairy Healing, which she can utilize to aid her comrades.
As a fan, I’d like to highlight an intriguing duo of lesser-known heroes: Paste Pot Pete and Locus. The unique talents of Paste Pot Pete, such as Sticky Bombs and Glue Lasso, are all about hindering the opposition’s actions. On the other hand, Locus possesses Energy Lock and a power to reinforce or demolish structures, making him a formidable force in tactical maneuvers.
As Marvel Rivals‘ first season persists and the Human Torch and The Thing are imminently joining the series, there’s no slowdown in its forward push. Such teased heroes merely intensify the anticipation.
