Patta SS25 Pays Homage to the Streets That Paved Its Path

For Patta, streets have always been a significant wellspring of design ideas. Rooted in Surinamese heritage through co-founders Edson Sabajo and Guillaume “Gee” Schmidt, but based in Amsterdam, Patta thrives on the vitality of authentic experiences and everyday people. This essence is deeply reflected in their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which expands their cultural influence beyond their immediate sphere to capture the vibrancy of Caribbean destinations and coastal cities.

As a gamer, I’d say, “Patta designed their brand with shared hangouts in mind, creating an atmosphere that mimics hanging out with friends at the park, beach, football field, or even a late-night convenience store run. To really bring this vibe to life, they collaborated with Sideshow, who showcases some of the collection’s styles in a short music video specifically made for the campaign.

This collection boasts a broad spectrum of colors, featuring vibrant, warm hues like orange, lilac, and red contrasting with earthy tones of sand, brown, and camouflage patterns in shades of pink, purple, and brown. Texture is also crucial, showcased through tricot tracksuits, crochet stripes, and space-dye jacquard fabrics. The collection exudes a laid-back, vintage vibe, with highlight items including a leopard-print boiler suit, pink waffle set, and numerous bright cardigans.
