Or, more informally:

During Mexico Art Week in 2025, Studio 48’s group exhibition will be held at Casa-Estudio Max Cetto, a historic house built in the upscale architectural neighborhood of Jardines del Pedregal de San Angel. cc-tapis rug brand will present a new collection with designer Eny Lee Parker and their Raag collection with Doshi Levien. Moreover, there will be lighting from the Flos archives and collectible furnishings curated by Unno Gallery on display as well.

The original flooring and walls, adorned with volcanic stones and rough-textured plaster, serve as a stunning backdrop for the exhibit. This exhibit combines modern artworks with custom wooden fixtures designed by home architect Max Cetto, such as those from Unno Gallery featuring works by Caterina Moretti, Ōmbia Studio, Andrea Vargas Dieppa, Cesar Nuñez and Habitacion116. Flos’s stylish lighting designs are also present, adding a touch of sophistication to the space and filling it with one-of-a-kind collectible pieces.

On the floor and hung about the surrounding gardens, Eny Lee Parker and cc-tapis have translated her hand-built clay forms into Himalayan wool rugs. Made in earthen colors like ochre, beige, brown and gray, the partners took a minimal approach, applying amorphous engravings into the tufted pieces.

In her statement, Parker expressed that the design process enabled her to combine the tactile aspect of sculpting with the creative element of textile design. Essentially, she said each rug embodies the adaptable quality, texture, and human connection inherent in clay.

Meanwhile, the Raag collection by Doshi Levien for cc-tapis in 2024 takes inspiration from Indian artisanship and traditions. By utilizing a grid layout and vibrant colors, they interpret the ancient Indian musical system into a vivid, colorful representation.

During Mexico Art Week, from February 4th to 8th, 2025, Studio 84’s group exhibition will be held at Casa-Estudio Max Cetto, located at the specified address.
