Talk about a successful rocket launch.
In its initial release, the debut trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” reached an impressive 202 million viewers within the first day on all platforms. This strong start places it among the most successful launches for a Marvel Studios title in recent times, surpassed only by the phenomenal opening of “Deadpool & Wolverine.”

The trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” was viewed by 202 million people within its first 24 hours across all platforms. This impressive launch ranks it as one of the best beginnings for a Marvel Studios title in recent memory, with only the blockbuster debut of “Deadpool & Wolverine” having set a higher record.
As an ardent fan, I had the incredible opportunity to join Pedro Pascal, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, and Vanessa Kirby on a thrilling journey to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. Our purpose was none other than to help unveil an exciting sneak peek of an upcoming project that promises to revitalize the legendary comic-book franchise – the Fantastic Four! With Kevin Feige’s Marvel Studios now at the helm, following the Disney-Fox merger, we can look forward to seeing not just the Fantastic Four, but also the full potential of Deadpool on the big screen.
Disney reported that the Marvel trailer launch in Alabama set a new record for the highest number of views on a live-stream on YouTube, and it also became the top trending video on YouTube.
As a dedicated fan, I was thrilled to learn that the launch of the Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer took over X, previously known as Twitter! The buzz was immense, with social media chatter reaching nearly half a million – a figure higher than any Marvel trailer except for Deadpool 3, which aired during last year’s Super Bowl. It’s moments like these that make being a fan truly fantastic!
The “First Steps” trailer hints at a blend of past and future, and foreshadows a menacing danger from the legendary Marvel villain, Galactus.
The upcoming movie set to premiere in theaters next July 2025 is generating a lot of excitement among fans, who have been eagerly waiting for quite some time for a Marvel production featuring the First Family, a term used to refer to Marvel’s founding team.
As a devoted Marvel fan, I can’t help but feel a deep appreciation for the Fantastic Four, whose epic journey began in the pages of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s groundbreaking 1961 issue #1 of “Fantastic Four.
