BTS member Jin is starring in a new campaign for Alo Yoga.
Under the banner of the “Wellness Starts with Self-Care” initiative, the 32-year-old vocalist, who serves as a worldwide representative for Alo, is showcased in various outfits from their lifestyle line.
In this rephrasing, I’ve used “self-care” instead of “self-love”, and “outfits” instead of “looks”. This maintains the original meaning while making it more natural and easy to read.

The campaign aims to emphasize the shared dedication towards “self-care, community, and authenticity” between the K-Pop star and the brand, as stated in the press release. In his own words, Jin expressed that he feels his best when he maintains balance – this involves being true to himself, listening to his body, and showing himself kindness. Self-love might not always be simple, but it’s about making an effort to concentrate on what resonates with you personally.
The performer additionally noted that the initiative served as an opportunity to encourage everyone to pause for self-reflection and seek personal equilibrium, imbuing it with significance. “When I’m engaged in activities that bring joy and surrounded by loved ones, I feel invincible,” he expressed in a statement. “For me, it all begins with cultivating optimistic thoughts and releasing any burdens of negativity.
Jin, like the rest of BTS, is widely recognized for their dedication to promoting self-love and encouraging individuals to embrace themselves. They started this theme with the “Love Yourself” series, which began in 2017 with their “Love Yourself: Her” EP, culminating in their album repackage “Love Yourself: Answer.” They even composed a song titled “Love Myself,” featuring strong lyrics such as “You’ve shown me I have reasons / To love myself.
Summer Nacewicz, Alo Yoga’s Executive Vice President of Creative and Marketing, expressed in a statement that Jin’s genuine nature strikes a chord with our community. This campaign is designed to honor self-love as the cornerstone of genuine wellness, and we hope it encourages people worldwide to adopt harmony, optimism, and their personal paths.
Among the seven-member K-pop sensation BTS, Jin, being the eldest, made his public reappearance in June 2024 after fulfilling a 18-month military duty. Meanwhile, J-Hope joined him later in October 2024 following his own discharge. Remaining members RM, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are still serving their mandatory military terms at present.
