As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to announce that I’m jetting off to Berlin for the INTERVENTION, where Levi’s® is set to create an unforgettable experience celebrating their newest Loose Denim collection. Can’t wait to dive in!
During the Berlin Fashion Week schedule, Reference Studios organized the third installment of INTERVENTION, an eagerly awaited event that blends multiple creative disciplines into a cultural extravaganza. This gathering attracts both local and international artists in one shared venue. The venue for this occasion is Kant-Garagen, an iconic car park with architectural significance, which once served as a cultural hub of West Berlin. In this four-story location, brands and artists showcase their work during the week when fashion takes center stage in Berlin’s calendar.
Stepping into the expansive gaming arena, it was Levi’s® that stole the show on the ground floor. They transformed the space with a music-themed installation titled “Indigo Note.” This theme is a clever play on words, drawing inspiration from the evocative Blue Note found in jazz and blues music, while also referencing the iconic blue dye of denim.
Alongside displaying an expanding assortment of their Loose styles, such as the expanding XL family, the 568 Loose Straight, and the freshly introduced 578 Baggy Jeans, the brand collaborated with New York artist Ally Bo and Berlin screen printing studio Et Al Press for a special customization area. Using his distinctive airbrushing style, they showcased a lively color scheme inspired by Levi’s®’s rich denim heritage and indigo tones. This space enabled visitors to personalize the artwork on the brand’s newest Loose Denim line as well as T-shirts, tops, and jackets, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind pieces through their silkscreen printing process.
As evening approached, guests were guided towards the main area for an exclusive live concert, organized by Levi’s®. The performers, led by London-born saxophonist Nubya Garcia, drummer Moses Boyd (nominated for a Mercury Prize), and US vocalist Goegira Muldrow, kept the crowd dancing to jazz tunes until the night ended.
