‘Walking Dead’ Creator Robert Kirkman to Appear at Con for L.A. Wildfires Recovery

Robert Kirkman constructed a comic book dominion through The Walking Dead, his exploration of human resilience in the face of misfortune and devastation. He will now lend a hand in rebuilding after the Los Angeles wildfires, appearing at MultiCon – a convention that contributes to the recovery efforts.

Kirkman is the most recent notable figure to share his thoughts at the convention that took place on February 22 at The Preserve LA. Other guests who were announced on Friday include Sean Gunn, known for his role in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, Bitsie Tulloch from ‘Superman & Lois’, Michael Cudlitz, who has been seen in both ‘Superman & Lois’ and ‘The Walking Dead’, Khary Payton, a star of ‘The Walking Dead’, Scott M. Gimple, the showrunner for ‘The Walking Dead’, and Shar Jackson, best known for her role in ‘Moesha’.

They’ve become part of an existing lineup that includes Kevin Smith, David Dastmalchian, Seth Green, and Rob Liefeld. The event proceeds are donated to United Way of Greater Los Angeles, with ticket prices starting at $35. For a VIP experience, tickets costing $100 are available for purchase here.

Fans can donate additional money for autograph signings and selfies with talent.

Beyond the panel presentations, MultiCon will offer various other entertainment options. These include a nighttime performance by Don’t Tell Comedy as part of MultiCon After Dark, along with music performances from Sofar Sounds. Fork n’ Film, an immersive culinary movie experience, is also set to be a part of the event. Furthermore, Golden Apple Comics will conduct an auction featuring items such as a piece signed by both Stan Lee and Liefeld.

In a forthcoming development, Off-Brand Games is set to launch its fighting title sequel, dubbed “Rivals of Aether II“. Meanwhile, Fantasy Flight Games and the Star Wars: Unlimited franchise are planning an exciting in-game activation.
