It seems fans are eager for more Legacy of Kain content, as Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered are set to have physical versions available. Initially, these remasters by Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics were exclusive through Limited Run Games, but that’s no longer a restriction. Given the ephemeral nature of digital games, having a tangible copy will be attractive for many collectors.
It has been confirmed by Gamespot that two different versions of this upcoming game are going to be available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. You can find these physical editions for purchase on Amazon. There is a standard version, which includes only the game itself priced at $35. Additionally, there’s a Deluxe Edition available for $50.
Anyone who gets the Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered Deluxe Edition will get the following:

On modern personal computers, game codes will be provided instead of physical discs, as gaming PCs no longer utilize the latter. While some enthusiasts may lament this change, it’s hard to argue against the convenience digital games offer on a PC. At least, players can still look forward to receiving some fantastic physical merchandise – perfect for fans of this underappreciated series.
Many supporters had feared that the Legacy of Kain series was gone for good, making the release of Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered on contemporary platforms a real delight. The game itself is brimming with bonus content for enthusiasts of its lore, such as voice-acting bloopers, promotional materials, abandoned levels, and more. If you’d like to see this series persist, be sure to grab the physical copy and some of the additional material that will be released.
With the first two Soul Reaver games now remastered, it’s exciting to speculate about future developments. Many fans would be thrilled if the initial Legacy of Kain games were also remastered, especially with enhanced graphics and additional features.
